METAL HAMMER AWARDS: Photos Posted Online

IRON MAIDEN singer Bruce Dickinson, DAMAGEPLAN, MACHINE HEAD, IN FLAMES, MORTIIS, DROWNING POOL, H.I.M., CRADLE OF FILTH and BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION were among the attendees at the second annual Metal Hammer awards, which were held Monday (June 7) in east London. As previously reported, METALLICA won "Best International Act", SLAYER were named "Best Live Act" and IRON MAIDEN were named "Best U.K. Act" at the awards show. In addition, THE DARKNESS won "Best Video" for their most recent hit, "Love Is Only A Feeling", Welsh rockers FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND won "Best Breakthrough Band" and former MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx was honored with the "Spirit of Hammer" award for his contribution to the world of rock.
